See What Happened at Our First BOLD Celebration

Friends, Family, and Supporters gathered for the inaugural BOLD Celebration! on August 9th, 2024.

The evening was a success in many ways.



Celebration

First and foremost, we celebrated the achievements, hard work, and dedication of our participants, families, and volunteers.



Community Awareness

With just over 300 attendees, awareness was raised about BOLD and the work being done to improve the health and wellness of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through therapeutic ballroom dance instructions.



Showcase Dancing

The BOLD Dancers demonstrated their opening “Dance Circle” and performed two group dance formations. In addition, eleven solo or partnership routines were performed by individual BOLD students, demonstrating skills they have learned in dances such as Foxtrot, Cha-Cha, Hustle, and Waltz.



Social Dancing

Everyone in attendance had the opportunity to get on the dance floor, let loose, and experience the benefits of learning dance firsthand. At BOLD we believe that anyone can dance!


